Awesome UI Design Resource - Pattern Tap

Posted August 15, 2008

I don't usually just write about a web site without getting into bits of its UI design, but I came across Pattern Tap while cruising around for inspiration on FeedMyApp today and immediately fell in love with it. It's too great an idea not to share and I wish I had built it first.

Basically, the concept is that people like you and I can create collections of screenshots of our favorite UI goodies around the web: forms, buttons, borders, whatever... and share those collections with others.

I've been meaning to collect and discuss some of my favorite interface elements from around the web, and this site is going to make it 100% easier. What do you think about Pattern Tap? Leave a comment!

Yeah, it's awesome. I saw this a couple of weeks back. It's a great source for inspiration.

Ha! You're the second person to tell me they saw it last week. Where was I last week? I think my head must have been stuck in Photoshop.

Nice find, Shawn. Looks like they've featured mywww.bighuman.com in the audio section!

Hey Shawn, Noah from FreelanceSwitch Forums...I just now started reading your blog, and the information here is invaluable. The fact that you don't have hundreds of comments per post blows my mind - it definitely rivals any of the insanely popular freelance blogs out there.

You have gained a new loyal reader - added to my Netvibes.

Hello Shawn,

I too am from FSW forums.

Pattern Tap is a great site. It just makes brainstorming so much easier.
